says to ALL: I followed Karlos to the market..... but it seemed the barge just left shortly after I woke up and got off of it. I frowned, looking around, unsure what I was 'supposed to do' since my way back to White Water was gone and Karlos was most likely on that barge that just left from here. "Oh darn" I murmured with a shrug and bit my lower lip. I was supposed to be a prize for some great tournament he'd planned, the woman had told me as she'd read something on a cork somewhere. "Well that will just never do. I'm supposed to be some great prize I should attempt to get back I suppose" I murmured and started to wander the street to find a way 'home'.

says to ALL: I walked this way and that way.. wandering around, quite a bit lost. "Well damn" There seemed no other barges that looked even remotely familiar. Perhaps if I waited here, near the docks another would arrive soon. Looking around, I headed back up the street a bit, looking for a familiar face instead maybe.

says to ALL: the more I walked, the more I stewed about this peculiar situation. After all, I was to now be some great trophy, an honor and privilege it was supposed to be! Surely I would have to hurry back, what if people wanted to come inspect the goods right? I hurried back down the street to the docks instead, because the more I wandered here, the more I got...... lost and since I was already cranky, me being lost in this great big city wasn't a very good thing.

says to ALL: I noticed people departing on a round ship, oh how lovely a round ship looked. Though I was apt to get pretty darn seasick riding a ship, the barge ride to follow Karlos here was pretty much not fun as it was. But he knew travel much better then I and I had trusted his judgement...... Still I oh so hated traveling via the water, surely there was a better way to get back to White Water?

says to ALL: Ahh and there was a ferry crossing... That seemed relatively short and sweet. Maybe, just maybe White Water was really on the other side and the barge was so big we had to go a long way around to get there? I couldn't be sure, but I boarded the ferry anyway. Since it was hand pulled by those on board, a simple raft and a rope line from one end to the other.. of course all the free on it looked at me to pull the line. I sighed, but rose and did as was expected of me. Muttering the whole time "Maybe just maybe..... I don't want to be a prize" as I pulled the line to move the five person raft across the water.

says to ALL: Low and behold, the sight ahead was a rather amazing one! I'd navigated the raft, people getting off at the stop and I'd walked down a bit. Finding a slave girl I asked her and she pointed out a barge that looked much like the one Karlos took. "That there is heading to White Water" She exclaimed and so I boarded said barge. I told the man that I was a slave of Karlos the trash man and I was just trying to reach home. He nodded "Of course" and sent me with a slap to the ass up onto the vessel.

says to ALL: It didn't take long until I started to feel pretty same sea sick. I never was good with this whole travel thing and my irritation was growing greater by the minute. Sick to my stomach and the more I thought about it, the more I didn't want to be some great prize. The stress of trying to be something that people fought for was just a little too big in my books. I was barely able to feel like a slave on a good day, and here I was attempting to do or be something, only to be told by some strange woman named Skype that she'd read on a cork that I was to be a prize in a tournament. I ffrowned before I heaved over the side of the barge.

says to ALL: the barge started to toss and turn. Rock and sway and with it, swells coming up to slap me in the face with water. The silks I wear starting to tear the more I clung to that edge of the barge, getting tossed this way and that. The water growing rough and choppy. I heaved.. again, feeling miserable and getting angrier by the minute

says to ALL: With a sudden lurch, the barge crashed into a out grouping of rocks. My grip pulled loose from the edge and my body went sliding over to the other side of the deck as the ship teetered and swayed. The silks getting torn right off my body and I screamed in fear. Sliding right over the other side and down into the water. My arms and legs flailing as I tried to keep my head afloat.

says to ALL: finally my fingers latched onto something, a branch or log in the water and I clung, dragging my body through the current to it and clinging for dear life. I held onto that branch for a very long time and slowly started to pull myself, using it, to the shore. Once up, I sat on that bank, naked, cold, wet and shivering. I started to stew at the fate I'd been dealt.

says to ALL: Just as I'd started to get up, having stewed myself into so much anger that I was positive I would be no trophy, hell I wasn't even good at slavery, or at least not for his standards which I wasn't sure I truly understood. Any case, I looked to the side leading up to the docks of White Water. I looked the other way, seeing a crate heading down river. It was one from the broken up barge and I rushed down the way to try and catch it. Succeeding when the crate got close to shore. The top of it was broke open and I managed to wrangle it up onto the bank. Inside was a hammer. I frowned, looking at the hammer. Also was some string and a few other things that looked like they were meant to head to a tool shed. I looked up seeing another crate coming down the river. Grabbing a long stick that had been laying on the ground I reached out with it. Catching the crate with it and steering it towards the bank until I pulled it from the water. I shrugged, plucked the hammer from the open crate and thwacked the second crate. Cracking it open with a few tries, splinters flying everywhere. It was full of clothes! I pulled a cloak free, and pulled it over my shoulder. relishing the warmth. Finding a pair of men's leather skinned trousers, I pulled those on my legs. rolling up the cuffs. I reached into the first crate, using some of the rope in there and tied it around the waist of the pants to secure them. I dug around in that second crate and found a tunic and that I pulled around my shoulders. The warmth felt so good and I started down the river bank a little more. if nothing else, I had the basics to see my way to some sort of means. Running back. I fetched the hammer and rope, it could be useful for something. There had to be something out there that was better then this.

says to ALL: I caught one more crate in the water on my way out.. Popping that open with the hammer, I found boots. They were big, but I used more of that rope to tie them tightly about my calves so they didn't flop to much. With that I headed off the bank of the river and continued my journey.
